- A Bachelor’s Degree (Special) in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering from a UGC-recognized university.
- Minimum one year of satisfactory service experience in the relevant field after obtaining the degree.
- Age: 22 – 45 years (Upper age limit exempted for public servants).

- Prepare your application on A4 paper following the specimen given in the Gazette (Pages 6-8).
- The application must be in your own handwriting.

Elon Musk – A Short Story
Elon Musk was born on June 28, 1971, in Pretoria, South Africa. As a child, life was not easy. His parents divorced, and he was often bullied at school. But Elon loved reading, science, and computers. At 12 years old, he taught himself to code and even made a video game, which he sold for $500.
At 17, Elon moved to Canada, and later to the United States to study. He earned degrees in Physics and Economics at the University of Pennsylvania.
In 1995, he co-founded Zip2, a company that helped businesses appear online. Later, in 1999, he helped start X.com, which became PayPal and was sold to eBay, making him very rich.
Elon used his money to start bold new companies. In 2002, he founded SpaceX to make space travel cheaper and eventually send humans to Mars. In 2004, he joined Tesla, producing electric cars and clean energy. He also started SolarCity, Neuralink, xAI, and bought Twitter (X).
Elon Musk’s life shows that big dreams, hard work, and learning can change the world. Even a child who faced difficulties can grow up to achieve amazing success.
